The Puggy Chrome extension records QA sessions directly from the browser. It captures screen video, screenshots, network activity, console output, user interactions, and optional accessibility or performance data. Recorded sessions can upload automatically to the console when the user is authenticated, or export locally as a ZIP archive.

What you use it for

  • Sign in to Puggy.
  • Choose the organization where new sessions should upload.
  • Select current-tab or window/screen capture.
  • Toggle tab audio and microphone capture.
  • Enable interaction capture.
  • Start, pause, resume, and stop recordings.
  • Capture full visible screenshots or selected regions.
  • Review the session locally while upload finishes.

Capture modes

Recording

Use recording mode when you need video, logs, requests, and interactions for a full reproduction flow.

Screenshot

Use screenshot mode when a still image and annotations are enough to explain the issue.

Upload behavior

When you are signed in, Puggy uploads sessions to the selected organization. Keep the local viewer open until upload status is clear, especially for long recordings or large evidence sets.
